    中东之行(六)

    10月14日 布斯拉罗马圆形剧场
    布斯拉(Bosra)是叙利亚南部边境一座历史悠久的古城。它坐落在古商道的交汇处,还是前往麦加朝圣的中转站。这里的景色既不是严酷的沙漠,也不是肥沃的平原。它拥有世界上至今仍然保存完好的、可以容纳1.5万名观众的罗马大剧院,足够让人们敬仰而来。
    这个公元2世纪的古罗马阶梯式圆形露天剧场之所以能够保存得如此完好,大概是出于两个原因:一是建筑材料选用坚固的玄武岩,二是在公元7世纪到11世纪中期的伊斯兰时期,剧院四围被修建成一个堡垒,它保护了大剧院没有遭到毁灭性地破坏。这个剧场的独特之处也在于它还在继续使用,并且音响效果也和当初一样好,场内各个角落都能清晰地听到舞台上的歌声。如果能在这里听场音乐会,那可真是绝妙享受。

        我们进入剧场,从下往上看,只感觉这个剧场保存的很完整,但没有很“惊艳”的感觉,但是随着我们一级级的爬上看台,呈现在我们面前的景色完全不同了,剧场开始变得开阔,在走到最高点的时候,整个剧场的气势便显现了出来,正赶上有一群欧洲游客在看台上参观,里面有一个满头白发的老人唱起了歌剧,站在最顶端的我们清楚的听到了他的歌声。老人在没有放声歌唱的情况下我们都能听到如此清楚的声音,可见这个剧场的音响效果有多完美。

        再次走上舞台的时候,心中突然期盼着能有一天在这里看一场音乐会,或者话剧,一定很美。
